In 2003, 9 members of Spring Valley UMC spent five days in Camanchaj, Guatemala on a construction project for the Salud y Paz (Health and Peace) clinic.
Your gifts through Dimes-A-Day and your contributions of healthcare items and film canisters (used to dispense medications) allowed the team to take suitcases full of needed supplies for the clinic. Other needed items are construction materials and medicines.
In 2004, 18 members continued this work on a combined construction and medical team. Others were involved in planning and support. Last year's mission trip took place August 13-21, 2005. Click here to read daily reports.
