The team also distributed rice, beans, oil, tomatoes, and flour to the communities and the timing could not have been better as the fishermen cannot fish for shrimp in June. This is their cash crop so they have nothing to sell and money is scarce the first of July.

The team assisted a local woman in teaching the pregnant and nursing women on how to care for their babies.
