Mission's Team Vision Statement

The mission committee offers open hearts, open minds, and open doors locally and globally in mission, extending God's love:

• in action, by providing opportunities for hands-on direct mission ministry
  
  
• in support, by providing mission stewardship opportunities
  
  
• in education, by communicating to the congregation how we become disciples of Christ through service in the world

The Mission Committee

The Mission Committee is responsible for planning and directing the church outreach programs; that is, service projects or financial gifts that go beyond our church family. The primary source for underwriting our financial gifts comes from Dimes-A-Day. This "second mile" offering is placed at the chancel rail during worship each third Sunday. Since 1999, the congregation has donated more than $187,000 for mission projects.
