The Thompson Organ is the generous gift of Zoe and Dick Thompson. In October of 1996, Spring Valley's Organ Committee chose San Francisco's Schoenstein & Company, a nationally-recognized leader in organ design and construction, to build the new organ. The instrument arrived on November 2, 1998. After assembly and installation under the personal supervision of Jack Bethards, it was dedicated on February 13-14, 1999.
The Thompson Organ is a three-manual instrument with 34 ranks of pipes. Its warm and expressive tones provide an inspiring accompaniment for worship services and special musical events.
