Zoe and Dick Thompson were Spring Valley members since 1961. Dick served as Administrative Board chair and on the Finance Committee, and Zoe taught Sunday School and served as secretary of the Administrative Board.
It was as much Dick's "pipe dream" as Zoe's to have a pipe organ at Spring Valley. Knowing it would be years before the church could purchase one, Zoe took matters in her own hands and gave the balance, knowing it was what Dick would have wanted.
And so it happens that the Thompsons lovingly fulfilled the Methodist pledge to share with the church their prayers, their presence, their gifts and their service for all time.
