Youth Ministry
At Spring Valley, we are excited about connecting to youth. We want to seek and know God's love and gain greater relationship with Him. We want youth to have an attitude reflective of 1 Timothy, knowing that they are integral leaders and that their faith is important TODAY, not only in the future. Together we continue to strive to let God teach us how to love Him with our whole heart, and to love those around us. We hope you will join us in our journey of connecting to God and one another.
Sunday School- we meet every Sunday morning from 11am-12pm downstairs in the youth room (Harkness Hall) as a group wanting to learn and make disciples of the world as well as better disciples of ourselves.
Sunday Night UMYF- Throughout the year we meet for times of fun, fellowship, and worship on Sunday evenings. Click the link for a look at a typical Sunday night.
- December 11th- No UMYF - join us for "Lessons and Carols" service at 6pm
- December 18th- We will be caroling in Northwood Hills and at a few assisted living facilities in the area. We will eat dinner at 5pm, then follow our caroling with a movie, hot chocolate and cookies at Joseph and Julie's house. Youth will be ready for pickup AT THE HOUSE at 10:00pm. - December 25th- No Youth, Christmas!
Wednesday Nights Small Groups - Wednesdays we meet in small group Bible studies, with both boys and girls groups, to discuss our faith in a deeper way and talk about what it really means to have a relationship with Christ, what obstacles we have with that, and how we can support one another in our walk. Music - We have several options for youth to get involved in praise and fellowship through music.
