Lesson plans are created around units and include the following developmental areas: language and literacy development; beginning number awareness and math; gross and fine motor development, social and emotional growth. Learning takes place in group settings such as morning circle and centers as well as individualized instruction. Lifeways Wee-Learn curriculum is used as a foundation. In addition, two through four-year-old classes use Frog Street Press as a tool for learning shapes, colors, numbers, and alphabet skills. Our PreK4 and Transitional Kindergarten classes use handwriting without tiers. Music is on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays for all ages.
