“I’m OK, You’re OK”. As a positive person that’s a myth I love to live by.
But what about when life is “Not OK”?
Do I find myself needing to pretend that everything is perfect? Do I need to cover-up when things are coming undone? Can I bluff my way through because surely things will get better?
Vulnerability is when we embrace the “Not OK” in life. Vulnerability requires courage. Vulnerability creates connection. Vulnerability can even foster creativity.
In the Bible it says, God’s grace is sufficient for you because God’s power is made perfect in your weakness. God’s grace strengthens us in those moments when life is “Not OK”.
That’s a truth you can live by!
